All Output subscription plans (Arcade, Co-Producer, Creator, Output FX, and Output One) come with a 7-day free trial for first-time subscribers. Your trial begins the moment you sign up, not when you download, install, or log in to the product.
For full terms, see our Terms of Use.
What to expect at signup
New to Output
You'll create an Output account, enter a payment method, and start your 7-day free trial immediately. You'll receive a reminder email on day 4 and will be charged on day 7 at the same time you originally signed up, unless you cancel before then.
Returning subscriber
Log in to your existing Output account. If we have a payment method on file, you'll see it on the payment screen with the option to edit. The checkout screen will confirm whether you're eligible for a free trial or will be charged immediately.
When signing up for a free trial with a new credit or debit card, our system may run a temporary $1 authorization to verify your card. This is not a charge. It may appear temporarily on your statement and will be released by your bank, typically within a few business days.
Trial eligibility
Eligible for a trial
Trials are available once per subscription plan per person. For example, if you've tried Arcade but not Output One, or Co-Producer but not Arcade, you're still eligible for a trial on the plan you haven't tried.
Our system does not allow two individual subscriptions to be active at the same time. If you have an active individual subscription or trial and want to try another, you'll be encouraged to upgrade to Output One instead. To try a different individual plan, cancel your active subscription or trial, wait for it to expire, then sign up for the plan you'd like to try next.
Not eligible for a trial
If you've previously used a trial for or subscribed to a plan, you are not eligible for another trial on that same plan. You'll be charged immediately. Check your account page to see if you have a past or active subscription under any plan.
If you were charged when signing up for a trial and believe it was in error, see the refund policy for subscriptions.
Creating multiple accounts to access additional trials is a violation of our Terms of Use and can result in denied refund requests and restricted access.
Extended trials from partner offers
Some Output partners offer extended trial periods through a special signup link. Use the partner's link and proceed through the standard flow. The checkout screen may still show "7 day trial" as the extended period is applied on the backend. After signing up, confirm your actual trial end date on your account page.
