What happens when you cancel your subscription

What happens to your access, sessions, and content in Arcade, Co-Producer, Creator, and Output FX after you cancel your Output subscription plan.

When you cancel, your access runs through the end of your current billing period. You'll find the exact date on your account page at account.output.com.

Note: If your subscription has a past due payment, cancelling will write off the outstanding invoice and terminate your access immediately rather than at the end of your billing period.

What happens to your products

Output One includes all Output subscription products listed below. See each section for details on what happens to your access after cancelling.

Arcade

Anything you recorded in your project will play back using the last saved sampler or instrument as long as Arcade remains installed. You won't be able to browse, search, download, or access any downloaded factory content nor custom samplers and instruments. We recommend bouncing your MIDI tracks to audio before cancelling. If you're planning to uninstall, see How to completely uninstall Arcade first.

Co-Producer

Audio already in your projects continues to play back whether or not Co-Producer is installed. You won't be able to add new sounds or make changes. If you're planning to uninstall, see Reinstall Co-Producer.

Creator

You'll lose access to the Creator platform at the end of your billing period. Make sure you export your stems or final audio before cancelling.

Output FX (Thermal, Portal, Movement)

Your effects will continue running in existing projects but you won't be able to change presets or adjust any settings. If you're planning to uninstall, render your tracks to audio first to preserve the sound. See Thermal, Portal, or Movement uninstall guides.

Note: if you have a perpetual license for any Output FX plugin, that plugin's access is not affected by your subscription cancellation. If you were using the subscription version during a trial and are switching to a perpetual license, uninstall the subscription version before installing the perpetual one.

Your account page after cancelling

When your subscription expires, the installer and updater links for your subscription products will no longer appear on your account page. Perpetual license product installers are not affected.

Your music after cancelling

Everything you created while subscribed is yours to keep and use indefinitely, royalty-free. For full details on what you can and can't publish or distribute using Output sounds, see Arcade, Co-Producer, and Creator royalties and copyright explained.
