Rev-X Loops missing files error

If you have purchased Rev-X Loops and you are seeing an error saying that you are missing 49 files, please uninstall and reinstall the instrument. As we recently found an issue on the backend with this content.

Instructions on how to uninstall and reinstall are listed below.

Windows

  • Please first move your library folders for your Output instruments to the trash on your computer's drive.

  • Next, please do the following for all of the Kontakt-based engines:

  1. First, please make sure Native Access is quit

  2. Then, you'll need to manually delete the following Registry entries:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Native Instruments\*Product Name*HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Native Instruments\*Product Name*HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Native Instruments\*Product Name*

*Please insert the name of each Kontakt-based instrument individually where it says *Product Name* in the above file path.

*Here's how to how to access Windows Registry in order to locate and remove the above files:

  1. Open the Run box with the keyboard combination Windows key + r.

  2. In the Run line, enter “regedit” (without quotes)

  3. Click “OK”

  4. Say “Yes” to User Account Control (Windows Vista/7/8.x/10)

Once you have fully uninstalled Rev-X head back to the Output Hub to reinstall.


Mac

  • Please first move your library folders for your Output instruments to the trash on your computer's drive.

  • Next, please do the following for all of the Kontakt-based engines:

    1. First, please make sure Native Access is quit

    2. Next, open up an instance of 'Finder' on your computer and go to the following location: Mac HD > Library > Preferences

    3. In this folder, search for the name of the instrument, such as 'EXHALE' (the full file name, in this case, should be 'com.native-instruments.EXHALE.plist'). Please remove this .plist file for EXHALE by moving it to the trash.

    4. You will need to enter your computer's password in order to authorize this change.

    5. Once you have fully uninstalled Rev-X head back to the Output Hub to reinstall.
