This article demonstrates how to move your Arcade content to a new computer by explaining the following steps in greater detail below:
- Install Arcade on your new system
- Compress your existing Arcade Folder
- Transfer this file to your new machine
This will allow you to transfer your existing content to your new machine while leaving your existing Arcade folder intact in it's original location.
Installing Arcade on your new system:
The Arcade installer is available with the "Arcade" tab of your Account page.
To access your account, click here.
Update Arcade on your original system
We recommend updating Arcade on your original system. Doing so correctly will not delete your existing content.

Zipping your Arcade folder:
For External Drive Users: Before zipping your Arcade Content Folder, you must first move your Content Folder to the original, default location using the "Move To New Folder," button in Settings in the Arcade App. This will copy the Content Folder on your external drive and overwrite the existing folder that was left in the default location.
- Navigate to the file location of your Output products folder:
- macOS: Macintosh HD/Library/Application Support/Output
-
Windows: C:\ProgramData\Output
- Program Data is a hidden folder. Make sure to enable the ability to view hidden folders in File Explorer to access it.

Regarding User Content and User Kits
Due to the way Arcade handles imported content, this method does not apply to any User Content or Kits that use any User Content. Any content you drag into Arcade is linked to its original location on the original system, therefore it will not be transferred over.
To transfer your own Custom Kits, you will need to transfer all the Samples over to the new computer, manually add the Samples back into Arcade, and into any Kits that used that content.
