How To Reinstall Arcade

If you're experiencing issues with Arcade you can do a clean reinstall to help fix the problem.

Please note that reinstalling Arcade will erase and remove all previously downloaded content, including custom user kits from your system. Learn more on How To Back Up Your Arcade Folder If Needing To Reinstall.

MAC:
To uninstall ARCADE you'll need to manually delete the ARCADE plugin file in each plugin directory. Here are the 4 folders in which you'll find an ARCADE file:

/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components/Arcade.component
/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST/Arcade.dll
/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST3/Arcade.vst3
/Library/Application Support/Avid/Audio/Plug-Ins/Arcade.aax

Next, you'll need to delete the ARCADE content folder located here:

/Library/Application Support/Output/Arcade

At this point you'll have fully uninstalled the program. Then, please go to https://output.com/account/arcade and download the latest ARCADE Installer. 

Run the installer, then restart your computer and you'll be all set!

PC:

First, please run the uninstaller that comes bundled with the installer here:

Control Panel (win7) or Settings WIN10 -> Programs and Features -> Select Arcade from the list and uninstall

Also please delete the Arcade content and preferences files that are in this hidden* folder:

C:\ProgramData\Output\Arcade

At this point you'll have fully uninstalled the program. Then, please go to https://output.com/account/arcade and download the latest ARCADE Installer. 

Run the installer, then restart your computer and you'll be all set!
