It is safe to disassemble Platform and reassemble it later/elsewhere. We've disassembled and reassembled our office models dozens of times without issue.
Generally, we recommend following the directions in reverse and stopping whenever you get to a point where you're able to move the pieces comfortably without straining any connection points.
The less connections that need to be taken apart the better, but you'll still be able to re-assemble any pieces at a later time.
Please exercise caution to avoid stripping "B" screws, as that will complicate the disassembly process.
