The wood used for our Studio Collection products is Baltic Birch, which is a general designation of plywood from Baltic Countries in Europe. It is more durable and stronger than a lot of other types of plywood on the market!
The mounts used in the Eco Acoustic System are made of both solid wood walnut for the connector mounts, and a natural walnut material on the larger mounting plates, with an engineered core that withstands humidity and altitude variations without cracking, expanding, or shrinking over time. Because all of the exposed surfaces of the mounts are made of natural American walnut, there will be variations in the grain pattern and color tone.
The Diffuser and corner mounts of the Bass Trap are made of Baltic Birch, the same type of material used for Platform, Sidecar and Stands. The Natural version of the Diffuser uses clear coated solid wood Walnut for the end caps.
