Additional information

Storage

Arcade takes about 1.5GB to install. Kits you download add to that, so your total depends on how much you download.

DAW compatibility

Arcade works with all major DAWs, including Ableton Live, FL Studio, Logic Pro, Pro Tools, Cubase, Studio One, Reason, and GarageBand. Compatibility and performance can vary by DAW version, so we recommend using the latest.

Internet connection

Arcade needs an internet connection to log in and download kits. Kits you’ve already downloaded work offline for up to 30 days before Arcade needs to reconnect.

Browser

Arcade uses Safari (Mac) or Edge (Windows) to display its interface, so it needs to be installed and up to date, even if it isn’t your default browser.

Not supported

Arcade isn’t tested on Windows 7, 8, or 8.1. It may run, but we can’t guarantee it will or troubleshoot issues on those versions.

Not compatible with Arcade

  • macOS 11 and older (the current version of Arcade won’t install)

  • Mobile operating systems (iOS, iPadOS, Android, ChromeOS, and similar)

  • Linux, though Windows emulation through WINE may work unofficially

  • All 32-bit operating systems and DAWs

Arcade runs inside your DAW or as a standalone app on your computer. Standalone hardware like Akai MPC (including MPC One and MPC Sample), Native Instruments Maschine+, and Ableton Push 3 in standalone mode can’t run Arcade on their own, but you can use them as controllers for Arcade in your DAW.
