To have a pitch bend range beyond the default 2 semitones, it depends on whether you're using Kontakt Player or the full version of Kontakt. If you do have the full version, you can:
Click the wrench icon on the instrument to open Edit Mode
Go to the Group Editor and hit “Edit All Groups”
In the Source module, scroll to the modulation section
Add or locate Pitch Bend routed to Pitch
Adjust the sliders to 12 semitones or whatever range they want
If you’re on Kontakt Player, you won’t be able to do any of this since that version is locked.
You can use the mod wheel for pitch instead of the pitch bend wheel, that’s possible too in full Kontakt using the same method—just set Mod Wheel as the source.
