Limiter
Updated over a month ago

The Limiter uses extreme compression to ensure a signal does not go above a given output level. It can increase the perceived loudness or thickness of a signal.

Limiter Controls:

  • Threshold: Sets the level at which limiting begins.

  • Attack/Release: Sets the time (in ms) for the onset and decay of limiting.

  • Makeup: Compensates for any gain loss due to heavy limiting.
