Installing Arcade
Updated over a month ago

Upon starting your Arcade subscription you will be provided with download links for both the Mac and Windows installers directly from your web browser.

Additional Download Methods

Download links are also included in your order confirmation email, and via the “Arcade” tab of the “My Account” section of our website. Arcade is not downloaded through Output Hub.

After downloading the installer, close your DAW and follow the on-screen instructions, then restart your computer. (Updating Arcade while your DAW is open and not restarting your computer can cause potential issues with Arcade)

Arcade must be installed to the default location of your system drive. The installer will have the correct default path pre-selected.

What’s Included in the Installer

The Arcade installer includes the following files:

  • .VST

  • .VST3

  • .AU (macOS)

  • .AAX (Pro Tools)

  • Standalone application file

    • .app (macOS)

    • .exe (WIN)

Additionally, the installer includes 15 Kits from our most popular Lines so you can start making music immediately.

Arcade does not require Kontakt or Native Access

Unlike our Kontakt libraries, Arcade is an instrument plugin and does not operate within Kontakt. As a result, Arcade does not need to be activated in Native Access, all you need is an active Arcade Subscription and an internet connection.

Opening Arcade

We recommend using Arcade within a compatible Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) for the best experience. (Popular DAWs include FL Studio, Pro Tools, Logic Pro, Ableton Live, GarageBand, etc).

Arcade as a Standalone application

We recommend using Arcade in a DAW whenever possible. You can also use Arcade in standalone mode, but you won't have the ability to record or export your work.

Additional Notes:

  • You can log into Arcade on a total of 4 computers. Between those 4 machines, Arcade can only be in use on one machine at a time.

  • Arcade is designed to be used by one Output account per computer, so you cannot log out of your account and log into Arcade using another account.

    • If you need to log into a different account, please contact Output support.
